In experiment 1, the proportion of disturbed traps between 05 to 25 October 2020. Site A showed a decline by treatment type (capsaicin treated bait vs. control and untreated bait at two nearby sites A and J) over time in the direction expected, but the trend was not statistically significant. At each of the three sites, capsaicin did not significantly lower disturbance rates in this experiment (McBrayer et al. 2023).
