Pensoft to attend the 14th International Conference on Biological Invasions

10 August 2026

Pensoft Publishers will participate in the 14th International Conference on Biological Invasions (NeoBiota 2026), organised by NeoBiota, the European Group on Biological Invasions. This year the conference will be held in Brussels, Belgium between 7-11 Sepbember and will bring together researchers and practitioners to present and discuss the latest work on the ecology, impacts, risk assessment, and management of biological invasions across terrestrial and aquatic systems.

This year's programme will feature a diverse range of thematic sessions spanning both fundamental and applied invasion biology, from ecological and biological management strategies to the intersection of invasive species with the One Health framework and socioeconomic challenges.

Over the course of the conference, attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about Pensoft's involvement with the OneSTOP project (OneBiosecurity Systems and Technology for People, Places and Pathways), an EU-funded research initiative, focused on minimizing the introduction, spread, and environmental impact of terrestrial invasive alien species.
